“The Road That Leads To Life”

If you missed last Sunday, Tim McNames gave a great lesson on God’s throne and our use of words both good and bad. This Sunday June 30th, Tim Lloyd will be sharing from the pulpit.

Henry J. Blackaby in his daily devotional “Experiencing God Day by Day”, used 2 Corinthians 5:21 to encourage us about God’s incredible love. “He made the One who did not know sin, to be sin for us.”  We could spend weeks just digesting the truth of this verse, and I don’t think in our finite reasoning we could ever comprehend the awesome price that Jesus paid to cleanse us of our sin and to give us His righteousness. What a precious truth to ponder and hold on to. The world is spinning more and more away from God’s truth and His manual – the Bible. I think that Matthew 7:13 is more true today than it has ever been. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many are found on it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, you know which road to stay on. Come to church this Sunday and share with others who are traveling that same road.

See you there!
