This past Sunday, we looked at Paul’s challenge in Ephesians 6:17 to “take the helmet of salvation,” and we unpacked what it means to Live Right With The Right Mindset. Salvation is more than a moment we experience — it’s a mindset we choose daily. It guards our thoughts, anchors our identity, and restores the value God has already spoken over our lives.
As we move into this week, let me remind you of the three truths we walked through together:
1. Salvation redeems us and restores our value.
We aren’t defined by past failures or present struggles. Salvation declares that we have been bought, renewed, redeemed, and called His. When the enemy whispers lies about who you are, remember: your worth has already been determined by the cross.
2. Salvation grounds us in the Voice of Truth.
There are countless voices competing for our attention, but only one voice leads us to life. When we choose God’s truth over the world’s noise, our minds find clarity, peace, and direction.
3. Salvation shapes our perspective and fuels right living.
When our minds are centered on what Christ has done for us, we begin to see life through the lens of grace, purpose, and hope. A renewed perspective doesn’t just change how we think — it transforms how we respond, how we serve, and how we walk out our faith each day.
This week, ask God to help you wear the helmet intentionally. Listen to His voice and let His truth fill your thoughts. Let His salvation define your identity. And let His purpose guide each step you take.
May your mind be guarded, your heart encouraged, and your life rooted deeply in the One who saves.
