For the past several months our church has been searching for a part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator so we can better serve the children in our church. At the past Elder’s Meeting we interviewed and hired Jen Thompson to fill that role. Jen graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2009. Craig and Jen met at Azusa Pacific and worked at Kidder Creek Camp before getting married. The most important fact about Jen is that she loves kids and wants them to have a life changing encounter with Jesus. If Jen asks you to help with some area of children’s ministry say, “Yes!” Today we welcome Jen on staff at Scott Valley Berean church as our new Children’s Ministry Coordinator.
Also, for the past several months the Elder’s have been praying about new candidates to join the Elder Board. One of those candidates has been Scott Limkeman. At the last Elder Board meeting Scott was approved to join our Elder Board. Scott graduated from Colorado Christian University in 2012. He met Suzy while attending the college. Later Scott attended Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and graduated in 2017 with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies. Scott has been working at Rockside since 2017. We welcome Scott to the SVBC Elder Board.
