Coming into church on Sunday morning was all the reminder I needed that God orchestrates everything according to His perfect design and purpose. Meredith, the kids, and I were deeply blessed by the warm welcome we received—it was a moment I will never forget. Your kindness and open arms reminded us that God’s hand is clearly at work here, and it reaffirmed our calling to serve this congregation faithfully for as long as He allows.
Over the past three months, we have watched God open and close doors in both our life and ministry. There have been tears and long embraces as we said goodbye to a place we loved deeply. Yet to arrive here and hear the words, “We have been praying for you for so long,” has stirred something profound within my heart. It has created an immediate bond and deep affection for this church family that I can only attribute to God’s divine purpose and calling.
I am humbled and grateful to serve as your pastor. My desire is to lead and love this congregation well—seeking God’s wisdom and the Spirit’s leading in every step. I look forward to the conversations, ministries, and opportunities ahead as we begin this new season together at Scott Valley Berean Church. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and for allowing me the honor of being your pastor. May God continue to bless and guide us as we serve Him side by side.
