Palm Sunday

This Sunday is Palm Sunday.  Throughout the history of Christianity the Church has remembered the “Triumphal Entry” of Jesus into Jerusalem one week before Resurrection Sunday.  The event is a strange paradox.  On Palm Sunday the crowds are celebrating Jesus with shouts of “Hosanna”. A short time later the crowds were demanding the death of Jesus.
