Last Sunday we were warned by Tim McNames that Tim Lloyd was going to bring a message of “hail and brimstone”, but that was just a joke. Tim Lloyd did a great job on our need for “discipline” in our Christian walk………..which is hard to take, we want grace. This Sunday June 7, we will be treated to energy and excitement as KCOC brings their whole team to lead worship and I’m sure some wonderful testimonies of God’s incredible work in their lives. We need to hold them up in prayer for contined strength and endurance as they share God’s Word with these precious young kids that come from sometimes not nice home enviornments. It reminds me of Mark 4:15.The farmer plants seed by taking God’s Word to others and the Word falls on various types of soil…….if you read this section in Mark, you will see how we need to pray that the “seed” that is shared throughout each week will fall on the “good soil” and bring many to a lasting walk with Jesus the Christ.
