Spiritual Gifts
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so, in Christ, we who are many forms one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. (Romans 12:4-6). There are a great number of needs in our Church Family and we are always looking for volunteers to help us out. Consider using your gift now in one of our ministries.
Sunday Morning Ministries
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The SVBC Sunday School meets each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the classrooms. One Adult class is currently being lead by Tim McNames (Room 2).
CHILDREN’S CHURCH
The SVBC Children’s Church meets during the last half of the Morning Worship service – usually from @10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children’s Church is open to children ages 4 – 12. In their activities, the children learn more about Jesus and the Bible. From time-to-time, plays, skits, and other events are rehearsed and performed by the Children’s Church kids.
NURSERY
The Nursery provides excellent child care for your children ages 2 – 3 during the Sunday morning service. Trained volunteers keep your children engaged in fun activities, helping you to enjoy your participation in the worship service.
THE WELL
One of our newest ministries, “The Well” is the answer to that “hard-to-get-started” Sunday morning. Hot, rich and creamy coffee drinks and espresso along with assorted pastries is offered to begin at 8:45 a.m. each Sunday morning. “The Well” will help get you kick-started for the day.
HOSPITALITY HOUR
Cookies, drinks, and great fellowship” is the purpose of our Hospitality Hour. Immediately following the morning service, you can find Dan Kiep and his team of volunteers set up and ready to serve! Join us during this fellowship time – catch up with the latest from your church family members and meet and greet newcomers.
