“AWANA”

That summer sure went by fast! The county fair is over, school is about to begin, and life at the church is moving forward.

The Awana program will begin soon. Awana is a great ministry for children to learn the Word of God. Along with great games and friendships, they memorize Scripture and learn to apply it to their own lives.

But Awana is not just for children. It requires some committed adults to work with the children. That may seem intimidating for some, but it is a wonderful opportunity to pour your life into the lives of the next generation. 

Not only that, but by helping children learn the Word of God, you will also be gaining knowledge. I’ve had many Awana staff members tell me they have been memorizing the Scriptures right along with the children, and were growing in their understanding of God’s message.
