Scott Limkeman will be preaching this Sunday in Luke 6. The passage looks at what has become known as “The Beatitudes”.  Some have called it the “Sermon on the Plain”. I encourage you to be in church on Sunday as we are taught the Word of God. I hope the events surrounding the Resurrection season were a blessing in your life. We serve a Risen Savior!!! Thank you for praying for me as I contracted COVID during Holy Week. As a result I was not able to attend the Good Friday Service nor the Sunrise Service at Rockside. I am feeling better. Thank you for your prayers. I had a good staff meeting yesterday with Susie Marshall, Brett McMorris and Jen Thompson this week. It is always encouraging to hear the ministry plans these faithful people are pursuing as they serve the Body of Christ at Scott Valley Berean Church. It is a joy to serve with them. Vacation Bible School will be June 26-29 in the morning. Put the dates on your calendar and bring your kids. Rodeo Sunday is coming up. The date is April 30. Church will be from 9-10 that day with no Sunday School. The elders have been working on updating our church bi-laws for the last few months. The Berean Fellowship sent out some suggested bi-laws last year. We are working on incorporating their suggestions. Keep the elders in your prayers as we provide leadership for our church. On April 23 I will be preaching in Luke 7.
