“Scott Valley Land Prayer”

Scott Valley Prayer over the Land

Thank you Lord for this Land

Thank you Lord for the Land that you have given us to steward here on Earth.  We stand in awe that we have been invited to partner with the Almighty to release the reality of the Kingdom of God on Earth (Mt.6:9-10).   We thank you, Lord, for the blessing of being called to steward such abundant lands. We stand amazed at the provision of the One and Only God. Thank you Lord for your abundant provision!

You have all authority

We boldly declare your authority over Scott Valley.  Psalms 24:1-2 says, “YHWH claims the world as his.  Everything and Everyone belongs to him! He’s the one who pushed back oceans to let the dry ground appear, planting firm foundations for the earth.” We stand in agreement with Jesus (Luke 4) when he declared the year of the Lord’s favor (or Jubilee), and took his place as the fulfillment of this word.  In the year of the Lord’s favor, debts are paid off, slaves are set free and even the land is returned to its rightful owner.  Jesus’ blood paid the price for the earth as well as the people on the earth. (Heb. 12:24) We therefore declare that the land in Scott Valley, all lands of our families, towns, and communities are returned to the Lord’s ownership and that ONE DROP of the precious blood of the Lamb of God was sufficient payment for all the sin of the world, including any sin committed on these lands.

We are called to steward the Lord’s land

We further declare that it was God’s intention (Gn. 2-3) for man to co-labor with Him and to govern and steward the earth.  We agree by faith with the Word of God that we are co-heirs with Jesus and that because of the blood of Jesus shed on the cross (Eph.1: 1-18), we now share in the ownership and stewardship of the land, both in the physical and in the spirit realm.

We Repent…

We stand with the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:26) and Jesus (Rom. 8:34) as Intercessors (mediators) over this land. On behalf of the people of this valley we repent for any and all sinful acts committed against the Lord on this land.  (Dan. 9) We repent for any sins of deception, hatred, jealousy, competitiveness, bitterness, unforgiveness, rage, gossip, slander, murder, lust of the flesh in any form, impurity, greed, selfishness, idolatry, pride, and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. We recognize that when we sin, it places faith in the wrong kingdom and can open the door for the enemy to have jurisdiction in our lives as well as on the land. (Gn. 3, Mt. 18)

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Therefore, as stewards of our land and as intercessors we ask you Lord to appropriate the blood of Jesus over our land to break any and all agreements, whether consciously or unconsciously made, with the kingdom of darkness in Jesus’ Name. We stand before the Lord in the courtroom of heaven and humbly ask you, Lord, to render a verdict today to completely forgive and cleanse our sins, to remove any and all curses that have come upon us as a result of those sins and to cleanse and remove all curses off of this land. We surrender ourselves to the One who binds us together in godly love and unity.

We Bind…

As sons and daughters of God and heirs to everything he has (Rom. 8) we continue Jesus’ assignment to drive out the enemy (John 12:24,31) and stand as his representatives on earth.  Therefore, In Jesus’ Name we command any evil assignment, curse, ritual or vow that is active on our lands to be broken.  All corruption, including governmental corruption which destroys our livelihood and security must cease in Jesus’ Name.   We command any and all evil spirits connected to these assignments to be bound, broken and expelled from our lands and command them to go straight to Jesus, the eternal judge, for him to deal with you.  We ask you Lord to cover Scott Valley with the seal of the blood of Jesus as a protection against any corruption, torment, affliction or evil that would want to rise up against this land to keep it from its God given destiny.

We Loose…

We ask you Lord to loose on all of Scott Valley,  all of your divine plans and intentions (Eph. 2:10), the miracle power of Jesus to set captives free from all evil and reconcile people to yourself (Jn. 12:31-32, 2 Co. 5:17-21), the power that raised Christ from the dead – the Holy Spirit, our glorious inheritance (Eph 1:18), sight for the blind, captives set free, hope for the hopeless, strength for the weary, healing for the sick and all the power and love to do the greater things that Jesus declared we would do (John 14).  We welcome the Holy Spirit and declare that the fruit of the Spirit of God will rule and reign over all of Scott Valley. Lord, let your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control fill the land, reside here and multiply! (Gal. 5)

To You be all the Glory!

Now may the Glory of the Lord be released in us and through us. (Ps. 24)  May all who enter this valley be reconciled to God completely. (2 Co. 5:17-21)  May the Glory of the Lord multiply and radiate from here to all the nations of the earth.  We offer our lives as willing vessels of the Lord.  We surrender all our will and our lives to the One and Only God of all the Earth.  Come inhabit our land, now and forever.  AMEN!

This prayer was put together by Leslie Freeman, Intercession Director, JH Adventures at the JH Ranch, Etna CA. We at SVBC want to thank her for sharing it with us and our community.
