Thanks to a lot of hardworking people we had a wonderful celebration dinner at the church on January 20. The purpose of the dinner was to celebrate all the ministries at the church and thank those who are making it happen. I love the book of Acts where the Holy Spirit is empowering the people of God to be conduits of the grace of God. Thanks to Bob Fleener for being our master chef. Many young people helped to serve the food. Lynne Bryan and the Hospitality were instrumental in the decoration process. The Rockside guys helped with set-up. My daughter, Abby and Ian Andridge did the video work to make the testimonies come to life on the overhead screen. It was a great evening. All praise and glory goes to God as we participate with Him to bring about life change in Jesus Name.
I will be continuing in Luke 20:19-47 this week. Hopefully, we will be finishing Luke around Easter time. I am still praying about where to go next in the weekly preaching segment of Sunday worship.
