This coming Sunday stands to be a very important day for Scott Valley Berean Church. The members and regular attenders of the church will have the opportunity to vote on calling Pastor Brant Smith as the next lead pastor.
Pastor Brant has been interviewed by the search committee, the church board, and the Berean regional fellowship leader, and is heartily recommended to the congregation by each of these. He and his family, wife Meredith and children Madelyn and Adin, were here the weekend of July 20 to share the morning message and get acquainted with the church and the valley. Brant is currently an assistant pastor at Adventure Church in Yuba City, Ca. He has a wide variety of experience in the various aspects of church leadership, and comes to us with the recommendation of fellow church staff and members of that congregation.
