Wow…what a week in front of us. Back to standard time. Trevor Jones will be here November 3 as a candidate for the SVBC pastoral position and we will have the privilege of voting for a number of propositions and of course for the next President of our beloved nation. Trevor is coming from Santa Ana in Southern California and has been a Youth Pastor there. We need to pray for him and his wife that Scott Valley is a good fit for them if this is where God has called them. Now we come to Nov. 5. It has been called the most important election in over 50 years. We are in a spiritual warfare not unlike in the “Days of Noah” Right has changed into Wrong and Wrong has changed into Right. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says: If MY people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. I heard a prominent pastor say that no President can fix America; only Jesus can. I would pray that the right person elected could turn the tide back to at least common sense thinking and right back to right and wrong back to wrong. Make sure and vote.
