Hidden in the 2nd smallest book of the New Testament (Titus) is a hidden gem of incredible wisdom. From Titus 3:3-7: Once, too, Don was foolish and disobedient. Don was misled and became slave to many lusts and pleasures. Don’s life was full of evil and envy, and Don had no respect for others. BUT when God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved Don, not because of the righteous things Don had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away Don’s sins, giving Don a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon Don through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of His grace, He declared Don righteous and gave Don confidence that Don will inherit eternal life.
